ummer is a time for Arkansas’ county associations to gather to discuss timely topics. The 2020 summer was going to be like all the others before it. Then, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. County offices were shaken. But, it didn’t take long for them to recalibrate. ciation, Arkansas Association of County Clerks, County Judges Association of Arkansas , Arkansas Coroners Association, Arkansas Association of Quorum Courts, Arkansas Sheriffs Association, Arkansas County Tax Collectors Association and Arkansas County Assessors Association to hold summer meetings both in person and via virtual platforms so officials could receive their continuing education and reconnect with their county government network.
