Additionally, we provide student resources such as blue books and scantrons, lockers, and discounted movie and theme park tickets.

STUDENT INPUT

ASI provides practical input towards campus governance and is the official avenue through which student opinions are expressed. We speak for YOU!

ADVOCACY

Since 1947, ASI has been the driving voice at Cal State LA for student-led changes on and off campus. We advocate for you at the local, state, and national levels.

BRIAN NGUYEN ASI

PRESIDENT

I'm Brian Nguyen, your ASI student body president. I want to welcome you back to another exciting semester at Cal State LA! As your ASI President, some of my top priorities include hosting engaging events for the student body, providing valuable resources that support your success, and voicing your concerns and ideas to the university administration. I promise to do my best to serve you.

Stepping up to such a significant role and responsibility is a huge undertaking, but I am confident in the ASI team of student leaders and staff. Having worked in ASI for the past two years, I have been a part of the collaborative efforts to support students during the pandemic. Although it has been a challenge to connect with each other, campus departments, and you, the student body, our dedication to you is still steadfast. ASI wants to hear from you so we can be more informed and provide the experiences and resources you need and deserve on campus.

There's a lot of work to be done, starting with your input. I encourage you to find your college representative, the Academic Senators, and Executive leaders on our website at asicalstatela.org. Or stop by the ASI office on the second floor of the U-SU (Room 203) to meet us, ask questions, get involved, or just to grab a blue book or scantron. Your suggestions and ideas will make ASI better advocates.

Let's make this semester one to remember!
