The NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Handbook is a free compendium, offering
easy-to-read facts and advice on maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children. Drawing on current evidence from leading Australian and international research and education authorities, the Handbook explains the hazards most of us know about – and identifies many that we might not have considered to be so dangerous. Copies of the Handbook are distributed to families with primary school children throughout NSW each year, to help reduce injury-related hospitalisations and preventable deaths.
