In the last three months there has been many staffing changes at Aspen Waite South, and yet we have all been welcomed by such a friendly team, both in Wantage and by Bridgwater, and that is down to the spirit of the last 30 years that has been instilled in Aspen Waite as a group.

There has also been much discussion and plans for changes for the bright and exciting future and it’s a welcome insight into the next 30 years to know that we will be expanding and focussing on the day to day crossover between offices and a National dream team.

For all of us having the pleasure of meeting Paul, and enjoying a very illuminating meeting, it showed his passion for the last 30 years, and the ongoing care that is shown for the company and clients on a day to day basis.

Every day brings new challenges, yet we know that the core of the Aspen Waite is its people and its clients and how important it is that the focus remains there.

We look forward working towards the next 30 years on this successful journey.

During my 16+ years at Aspen Waite, there have been many changes.

When I joined, we had offices in Bridgwater, Wellington, Taunton and Fareham and life was ticking along.

I was having issues in my job role at the time, and after meeting with Paul, he gave me a new opportunity. As the saying goes the rest is history.

Life at Aspen Waite is so varied. I love my job and the variety I have. One day in the office, next day could be spending the day driving to see clients with Paul singing and dancing in the car, then maybe an exhibition to attend, Judging the Awards, supporting all the businesses we advise.

The really exciting new businesses Aspen Waite are involved with are the Radio station and recording studio. Who would have thought AW would have its own live streaming service - well done all.

To be honest , life could not be more interesting. Paul has supported me with every opportunity he has given to me and I feel blessed to have been given these unique opportunities and meeting Paul when I was going through a difficult time Congratulations Aspen Waite, Paul and all the teams upon reaching 30 years.

Let’s see what the next 30 years has in store. Looking forward to the next part of the journey.

Over the years I have seen Paul develop his love for cycling, pedalling along with him, testing (rider/velocipede) with cycle rides around the South West.

I have been at the beginning of a quite a few of Paul’s exerts, always the start, almost never the end, because with Paul when one goal is reached it’s the beginning for another adventure, (his whole ethos it seems), and it’s not the end until he says so!

During our early days Paul honed his cycling skills, often drumming up ideas for adventurous rides that would bring benefits to others while he rode. Which in 2010 lead me to one of my most challenging endeavours, supporting and cycling along with this combo of half man, half bike as he embarked on the St Margaret Charity challenge. Cycling, JOGLE, (John O’ Groats to Lands’ End), 940 miles in 8 days! Though when riding with him all I could see was his rear end as he determinedly powered on. I was very proud to finish this adventure with him.

Here’s to another 30 years dear friend and to the road ahead, when and wherever it may take you.

Thank you for thinking my family are good enough to work with and for you – we will never let you down

Sorry for being intense and misunderstood – I mean well 100% of the time, so if I speak out its only because I believe there is a better way
