The concept of this design is community. Austin is pushing to densify the central area surrounding the capital and main throughways connecting to it. This design highlights what a mixed-use community could be and demonstrates that where verticality is gained community and typical suburban life is not lost. The design creates functional double height apartments with great outdoor areas that invoke a sense of backyard over the fence community. The office areas create to double height offices spaces ajoined by a hallway creating to collabrative workspaces. The building changes in height and steps back from the street that is mainly occupied by residential house and grow taller near the commercial side.
