ASKI bags 3 ‘Ang SUSI’ awards

SKI Group of Companies, Inc. won three awards During the ANG SUSI [Associations nurture National Growth through Social Unity and Sustainability Innovations] Awards 2018 initiated by the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives [PCAAE] held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center on November 23, 2018.

ASKI won three awards namely: 1) The Association Board Member of the Year for ASKI President and CEO Rolando B. Victoria. Mr. Victoria sits in the board of membership-based associations in the ASKI Group of Companies like the ASKI Microfinance, ASKI Mutual Benefit Association, ASKI Employees Credit Cooperative and as advisory board of ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative and ASKI Foundation Inc.

BOARD MEMBER OF THE YEAR ASKI President and CEO Rolando B. Victoria is recognized as Board Member of the Year at ‘Ang SUSI’ Awards 2019 noting his exemplary leadership as board member of the different associations within the ASKI Group of Companies, Inc.

2) Change Catalyst Category winner for the ASKI Foundation’s Livelihood for the Extreme Poor [LIFE] Program; and 3) Technology Innovation Category

ASKI client wins micro-agri business award

SKI client from Kalinga Province is one of the awardees of the 2018 Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards Special Award for Micro-agri Business.

Mrs. Estrella Balnao of Tabuk City, Kalinga received the recognition during the awarding ceremonies held at the Metropolitan Museum, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on December 7, 2018.

Mrs. Balnao is engaged in coffee production and processing. Her product is known in Kalinga and nearby provinces as Mt. Kalinga Coffee.

ASKI Mallig Branch and Mr. Philip Delos Santos, Balnao’s account officer, were all recognized during the event and they also received cash prize.

Now on its 16th year, the CMA recognizes the exceptional microentrepreneurs in the country who through sheer hard work and perseverance were able to realize their dreams. The CMA is being supported by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Citi Foundation and the Microfinance Council of the Philippines.

On the invitation of the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE), ASKI Group of Companies, Inc. President and CEO Rolando B. Victoria served as one of the panel speakers in the Plenary Session Sustainability Stories and Case Studies during the 2018 Associations Summit held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center last November 23, 2018.

Representing the ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative as its Advisory Board, Mr. Victoria shared the initiatives of AMPC as well as the other membership-based association within the ASKI Group which contributes in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

This year’s Summit theme, “Inspire, Collaborate and Sustain” was attended by more than 140 Association Executives in the country. The Association Summit is now on its sixth year and was dubbed as the “Biggest Gathering of Associations and Association Professionals”.
