ASKI, CARD Pioneer to offer micro crop insurance

A

SKI and CARD Pioneer Insurance recently inked an agreement to offer micro crop insurance among farmer-clients of ASKI. With this product, the smallholder farmers will now be protected from the adverse effects of natural calamities.

As a pilot run, it will be implemented in 37 ASKI branches in Region 3 covering Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac provinces. “We are glad to extend our partnership with Pioneer Insurance through the ASKICARD Pioneer micro crop insurance to help our farmers. Our areas of operation are frequently visited by typhoons so by having this kind of program, we will be able to help our farmers recover from their losses,� said ASKI President and CEO Rolando B. Victoria.

ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative now offers savings and deposit program ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative (AMPC) introduced its Savings and Deposit Program for all its members. For a minimum savings of P1,000, depositors will earn an interest of 2% per annum. For more information, you may get in touch with any ASKI Branch near you or at the AMPC Office.

Long-time ASKI client is Cabanatuan’s Most Outstanding Woman 2018 One of ASKI Group of Companies Inc. long-time client, Mrs. Dina Lava, was among the 2018 Outstanding Women in Business Service recognized during the Women’s Night organized by the City Government of Cabanatuan.

Mrs. Lava established Dina’s Catering and became well-known not only in the City but in the whole province as well. Her entrepreneurial venture enabled her to be nominated by ASKI and became finalist in different award giving bodies including the Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards by the Citi Foundation, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Microfinance Council of the Philippines.

Her success story is truly an inspiration to other budding microentrepreneurs.
