Day 1 – Arrive at Trichy – Local Temples (No Meals)
Upon arrival in Trichy, begin your pilgrimage by visiting the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam, a massive and sacred Vishnu temple known for its intricate architecture and religious significance. Then proceed to the Uchi Pillayar Temple, located atop the Rockfort hill, where a short climb leads to a shrine for Lord Ganesha and a panoramic view of Trichy city. End your day at the serene Jambukeswarar Temple in Thiruvanaikaval, dedicated to Lord Shiva and representing the water element among the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams. Overnight stay in Trichy.


Day 2 – Trichy → Thanjavur → Madurai (250 km / 5 hrs)(B)
Check out from Trichy and drive to Thanjavur, where you’ll visit the majestic Brihadeeswarar Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of Chola architecture. After darshan and sightseeing, continue your journey to Madurai, one of the oldest living cities in the world. In the evening, visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, known for its towering gopurams and detailed sculptures. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Tiruchendur Murugan Temple
Day 3 – Madurai → Rameshwaram (175 km / 4 hrs)(B)
Start your day with a second darshan at Meenakshi Temple (if not completed on Day 2), then drive to Rameshwaram, an important Char Dham pilgrimage site. On arrival, visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, known for its long corridors and 22 holy theerthams (wells). You can also take a dip at Agni Theertham, a ritual sea bath. If time permits, make an optional visit to Dhanushkodi, the mystical ghost town at the tip of the island. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
Day 4 – Rameshwaram → Tiruchendur (230 km / 5 hrs)(B)
After breakfast, travel to Tiruchendur, located on the southeastern coast. Visit the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of Lord Murugan, dramatically set on the seashore. Spend your evening relaxing on the beach or enjoying the temple’s sea breeze ambiance. Overnight stay in Tiruchendur.
