Concept and Thought-process:
This poster is based o of Kanye West, or today known as Ye’s popular song “Praise God” from his abum ‘Donda’. This is a lyrical typographic poster, which I also adapted into album and CD art. As a fan of Ye’s music, I have always wanted to create a lyric poster.
The poster uses a dark pysche theme, and the Album cover has been given a more used up and faded texture. A lot of gradient nad motion blur has been used in the process of creating this.
Concept and Thought-process:
This is a cheeky conversational/check in poster that I created. It resulted from a random shower thought moment.
I found it rather interesting how the most random phrases/questions/statements are often those that turn out to be iconic, and even print-it-on-a-shirt worthy.
I imagined this statement to be something that would be commonly used after a grocery shopping session, hence the mockup of a roadside billboard.
The poster uses a bright and cheeky colour palette. Everything in this poster was hand drawn to maintain the intended childishness of the statement.
Concept and Thought-process:
This is a poster of climate change and danger of rise in sea levels.
The typography was this poster was initially created using Envelope Distort tool on Illustrator, and then brought into Photoshop for manipulation and editing. The end result shows the text (which will be our Earth) getting swallowed up by the sea (kind of giving a feeling like this is a still from the movie 2012).
a TRANSITIONAL SERIF typeface
Along with the French Revolution came the need for a change in design, subsequently resulting in a change in typography. People were looking for simpler and more modern ways of expression.
Thus emerged a highly elegant typeface that contained the essence of the old style, yet showed modernism and structure: BODONI.
Bodoni is commonly known for its structure and extreme contrast. While its serifs do not resemble the Old Style brackets, one can still see the essence of the Old Style here. The presence of a very fine structure and its elegance puts forth Bodoni as one the classiest serifs today.
Concept and Thought-process:
The concept from this poster was to make a kind of a cinematic typography poster. When I thought of the typeface ‘Bodoni’, I instantly thought of its association with elitism and high fashion. Therefore, I pictured a fancy martini glass made out of the letters that make up the word ‘Bodoni’.
On the right, I added the name of its creator - Giambattisa Bodoni. Below I added a short description about the typeface, for some context.
This poster is intended to have a vintage editorial feel.

Concept and Thought-process:
This poster is based o of the title of the Play “Surul Pei Salai” which translates to “The road of the Twister Ghost”.
The poster is mostly type with the inclusion of a background image + illustration and logo assets.
The poster itself is self explanatory - an isolated highway leading to ‘Surul Pei Salai’.
Concept and Thought-process:
The Fight or Flight mechanism is one that most peole dealing with anxiety face. This poster, inspired by brutalism (an art form movement in architecture and design in the late 90s) discusses the fight or flight mechanism.
This isn’t entirely a typographic poster, but for the most part is. I used the Liquify e ect to show the way thoughts and out mind getting more fluid and less structured, therefore pushing us to a fight or flight mode.
Concept and Thought-process:
During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, it goes without saying that several people faced existential crisis and depression. Mental Health, for starters, went for a toss. This poster was created during a moment of questioning and reflecting.
This poster comprises graphic design as well as photography, to give it a mix of fantasy and reality. The passage/copy, was a thought that occured to me during my moments of self-reflection.
Concept and Thought-process:
This is a fan poster for NBA Phoenix Suns player - Devin Booker. The style of the poster came from another poster I came across online that I took inspiration from and adapted to my style.
This poster comprises vector and pixel art, imagemaking and typography. The colour palette was chosen to suit the team’s Jersey Kit.
Concept and Thought-process:
This is an event promotion poster made for the purpose of Social Media promotion. Thinnai Talkies is an Indian documentary community platform that broadcasts challenging documentaries. These are followed by a discussion with a panel. The theme “Ask” was chosen for this series.
The poster depicts a scene from one of the documentaries. The poster includes imagery and type with a simple pattern. Sometimes, simplicity tells a better story than others.
Concept and Thought-process:
This is a fan poster for A Premier Legue Face- o match between Manchester City and Liverpool. The style of the poster came from another poster I came across online that I took inspiration from and adapted to my style. This style was chosen to show a clash between the teams, led by their star players.
This poster comprises image manipulation and typography. The colour palette was chosen to suit the team’s colours.
Concept and Thought-process:
When you work on your passion to turn your dream career into a reality, you enjoy working so much more. That is the motto of the brand “Get Shit Done”. This illustrated poster aims to show the same.
Through vector illustrations and very few elements, this poster shows that when it comes to working on your dream project, your heart and brain are on the same page. This poster was entirely created by mefrom conceptualisation to execution.
Concept and Thought-process:
This illustrated comic still was inspired from a pinterest post I saw about feminism. This was a commissioned project for an Indian Body posivity Podcast ‘Petromax Light eh dhaan venuma’.
This was completely created by me, from conceptualisation to execution. It discusses the beauty behind unibrows. The concet of this post was inspired by the monobrow movement.
Concept and Thought-process:
This vector based illustration was a commissioned piece of work created for a client during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I used Image trace to vectorise the provided image, and used it as a stencil to draw and paint over.
Concept and Thought-process:
This flat vector illustration is a cheeky spur of the moment artwork. I received this idea when I saw a lot of people simply working out for a couple days and instantly expecting results. This artwork is a play on that thought.
This was also completely conceptualised and designed by me.
