Drawing on the Prospect and Refuge Theory, the design balances openness and intimacy: expansive views of the dining area create a sense of connection and community (prospect), while cozy alcoves and softly lit corners provide privacy and comfort (refuge). This thoughtful interplay enhances the ambiance, making it a welcoming retreat for every guest. Using curvilinear lines in the ceiling and furniture increase feelings of relaxation, resulting in a more inviting space.

The logo is inspired by a bird's nest, symbolizing care, safety, and retreat. The scribbled lines reflect both the organic, intertwined branches of a nest and the chaotic thoughts that can inhabit a person's mind This dual symbolism beautifully ties into the purpose of Rest Nest The logo conveys a sense of refuge and healing, emphasizing that amidst life's complexities, there’s a safe space to retreat.

A tranquil environment or engage in calming activities, triggers a relaxation response in your body This, in turn, can lead to lowered blood pressure, improved sleep, and a more balanced emotional state

A sense of safety can reduce stress and anxiety, allowing your mind to focus on the good stuff It’s the foundation for emotional well-being

Whether it’s through relaxation, self-care, or engaging in activities you love, rejuvenation helps reset your mind and recharge
