ECHANICSVILLE – “We’re taking care of our neighbors.” That’s how Mark Gordon, chief executive officer of Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center, describes the hospital’s role as they prepare to celebrate 20 years of serving the community. Community is a word Gordon uses often, because he is quick to praise the support shown for the medical center. He also talks about his appreciation for the EMS providers and first responders, as well as “our nurses, our medical staff and our community.” “We are celebrating our 20th anniversary this year, and in two short decades Memorial Regional is one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation.
