Strawberries and bands make beautiful music
A
SHLAND – Each year, the Ashland Strawberry Faire showcases an abundant amount of musical talent on the Blackwell Stage. Kevin Damian, the Faire’s music coordinator, has been booking bands for the Faire since 2010. “The stage schedule books up really quickly. We have bands from all over contacting us now to play for the Faire,” Damian says proudly. This year, the Faire is excited to see one of Hanover County’s own join the impressive list of bands playing on stage. Alex Roberson, a 2011 Patrick Henry High School graduate, is playing with his band, Honest Debts. “I am the only Patrick Henry alum, but three of the four are Richmond natives
