The village Budhal is situated by sea in taluka Guhagar, district Ratnagiri. Being a coastal area fishing is the major occupation of the people. The traditional techniques practised by people are not enoughfor them to get good livelihood which leads them to get good livelihood which leads them to embrace new will keeping the traditional roots intact.
The generation and upcoming youth were education is an important tool to enhance the skills can lead them to new opportunities and make awareness about fishing as a tradition. It will also bring better livelihood for the people of Budhal and also neighbouring villages by learning new techniques and also it will led to awareness of disasters and how to manage the disasters. It can boost the economic and socio-economic factors of Budhal and the neighbouring villages.
Through exploring the idea of embracing the new with the traditional methods, the dissertation can create various possibilities of economic growth, a better lifestyle to the people of Budhal as well as neighborhood villages.

FREE FLOWING CHAIN - Chain as a concept was studied looking into the design startegies as each officer and police stations are interconnected with each other its a chain of work they execute. As chain has its start and end.
Here the start is from the head to constable with different functions but if the chain breaks in similar manner if the work chain is not executed properly it leads to disfunction. As the community plays and important role which again forms a connection with police station. As they interdependent on each other.

Thought behind this project is yo create a semi private spaces. Four petals represents the family members. Petals are connected to each other with internal spaceslike entrance, drawing room, open kitchen, parking space as well as open to sky terrace space with central courtyard in between.
