Worship for Everyone 9:15 is worship for everyone, including people of all ages and interests. It is held on the second Sunday of every month. In an informal style, 9:15 features live music, discussion and prayers, followed by breakfast pastries at 10am. Our usual 10.30am worship follows breakfast, with young people having film & fun in the Century Hall.

Open the Book Using puppets and drama, our Open the Book team tell Bible stories in a way that’s engaging and thought-provoking to children at Hilltop Primary School. The team, pictured below preparing to tell the story of ‘the woman at the well’, use their creativity and enthusiasm to help young people to think about the stories and to imagine what it must have been like to be there.

The next 9:15 services are on Sunday 10th December and Sunday 14th January.

Tim’s Message All Stars!

Christmas is a time which heightens our sense of celebration and excitement. Yet it is also a season which emphasises our sense of loss, loneliness and the marching on of time. As we look around our family and friends, we are reminded of those who are no longer with us whose memory we hold dear, whose love we cherish. Sometimes the sense of separation, loss and regret for those we miss can be overwhelming. So at church we want to honour all the feelings we have. Particularly at Christmas-time we want to remember those who have gone, or from whom we are separated, as well as celebrate with those nearby. So this Christmas let us give thanks for the stars we miss as well as appreciating the stars around us. God's peace to you this Christmas-time, Rev Tim Morris, Minister at Ashbourne Methodist Church
