WINNER Millway have shown throughout the year that they strive for and have achieved excellent parent partnerships and have engaged with parents throughout. In 2022 Millway appeared in the Northampton News for their efforts to involve parents and children in events such as the Queens jubilee and they were also nominated and shortlisted at this years NMT awards for Parent Engagement.
WHAT IS PARENT ENGAGEMENT?
Working in partnership with parents and carers is fundamental to the EYFS and crucial in supporting children to enjoy learning and make good progress.
Gisella has shown her continued dedication to supporting all children with SEN throughout 2022, Gisella was Nominated for this years NMT awards for SENDCO of the year.
SENDCo - Identifying Special Educational Needs in children and young people that attend early years provisions and identifying this as soon as possible ensures that they are fairly represented and supported whilst at the setting and that all children are able to receive the help they need from SEN provision.
This year PRBN were graded OUTSTANDING by Ofsted following their inspection at the start of the year. This was Ashbourne Day Nurseries First OUSTANDING grading to be awarded. PRBN along side PRDN were nominated and shortlisted for Nursery Team of the year award at this years NMT awards.
What does it mean to be 'Ofsted outstanding'? It means that the provider/setting has been observed to providing an exceptional level of care and education that goes above and beyond. This includes factors such as the quality of teaching, the learning environment being enabling, and the overall management of the setting including safeguarding is deemed effective.
Tristan has shown continued dedication and committed to not only his role and his Career progression but the Ashbourne Day Nurseries Group in General. Since Tristan joined Ashbourne Day Nurseries he has progressed within his career and the company.
This year Tristan was promoted to Nursery Manager and has continued to grow his Career and the nursery from strength to strength.
Professional development refers to continuing education or career training after a person has entered the workforce in order to help them develop new skills, stay up-to-date on current trends, and advance their career.
Erica has been the driving force in developing the provision at Leavesden which has gone from strength to strength since Erica stepped into the role as Nursery Manager.
Although the journey has been a challenging one, she has remained highly driven, ambitious for the nursery and committed to her role.
Erica’s enthusiasm and passion has been second to none, Erica has gone above and beyond, supporting a second site through a turbulent period whilst also managing her own setting.
Displaying exemplary leadership and management skills in running their setting and providing the best possible service for children, families, and staff.
This year Roop has progressed within her Role from Nursery Manager to Cluster Manager, Roop has show complete dedication to her role and the Ashbourne Day Nurseries Group.
Roop has contributed to the continued success of Millway throughout 2022 and has helped the Nurseries Progress both Early Years and Operationally.
Laura has flourished in each of her roles since joining Ashbourne Day Nurseries. The support provided in her role as Early Years Specialist and the support she continues to provide in her role as Cluster Manager is inspirational. Laura’s passion and enthusiasm to achieve the very best outcomes for staff, children and their families is truly outstanding. She is a shining example of the vision and ethos of Ashbourne Day Nurseries, engaging and motivating the team and sharing her broad knowledge and experience to develop good quality practice.
Dedication is a consistently being loyal and showing support to a person, organization, or idea. Dedication in the workplace means an employee will have a strong work ethic and seek to improve both themselves and the organization around them.
The newly established team at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Bricket Wood have worked incredibly hard to positively shape the future of the setting. The team joined the nursery with the enthusiasm and commitment that the nursery needed at what was a turbulent time and have continued in providing the quality home-from-home environment that has enabled children to continue to thrive.
Working effectively together, the team have not only developed good teamwork but also built positive relationships with the children and families.
