SIMPLE SOLUTIONS
Getting it right... Make up a sandwich with your choice of flling, using no butter inside. Then, very lightly butter on the outside and pop into a sandwich toaster or under the grill. A proper sandwich maker like the Asda Sandwich Toaster, £9.96 (above right), seals the edges and cuts the sandwich in half. The Breville Panini Press, was £29.96, now £20* (right), even has a foating hinged lid so you can use thicker breads such as ciabatta and panini.
