Moisturising is an essential part of our daily beauty routine, so of course we want a product that leaves us with a soft, radiant complexion. To fnd out which face creams really tick the boxes, we asked four readers to try out a selection of popular moisturisers and let us know what they thought. Here are the results...
Nivea Pure & Natural Soothing Day Cream, £5 (50ml) SHARON: ‘A very thick cream – I found that even a small amount wouldn’t sink into my skin easily.’ REBECCA S: ‘Wonderfully creamy with a lovely scent,
Olay Anti-Wrinkle Instant Hydration Day Cream, £10 (50ml) SHARON: ‘Felt nice when it was going on, but it didn’t absorb quickly.’ REBECCA S: ‘A good, fresh-feeling cream that provided a good base for my foundation. Had a lovely cucumber scent, too.’ SUE: ‘Light texture, but left my skin feeling a bit sticky.’ REBECCA W: ‘This is brilliant! I didn’t need to use a lot and my skin felt really smooth. This’ll be my new daily moisturiser!’
£5 but it took time to absorb.’ SUE: ‘I liked the chamomile smell, and the cream left my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day long. I would recommend it.’ REBECCA W: ‘This was disappointing – left my skin looking and feeling greasy.’
