SIMPLE SOLUTIONS

Get creative by adding leftovers in your fridge to these fillings. And experiment with extra flavour by using pickles, olives, capers and chutneys, too

Smoked salmon & soft cheese Cover a slice of brown multiseed bread with Asda Light Plain Soft Cheese. Add smoked salmon, a squeeze of lemon juice and pepper, then top with another slice of bread.

Pork & coleslaw Make coleslaw from shredded white cabbage, grated carrot, finely chopped onion and sliced cooked green beans, tossed in a little cider vinegar, olive oil and coarse grain mustard. Serve in two slices of white batch bread with sliced, cooked pork loin.

Houmous & roasted vegetables Arrange houmous and roasted vegetables (red and yellow peppers, courgettes and red onion) between two slices of wholemeal bread.

Prawn & mayonnaise Mix together prawns and light mayonnaise, flavoured with a little finely chopped chilli and a squeeze of lemon juice. Layer with lettuce and cucumber between two slices of white tiger bread.
