Curly kale makes a nice change to cabbage. Just trim away the tough outer stalks, wash the leaves, then chop or shred them. Put in a pan with 1cm water and simmer for 5 minutes until wilted. Drain, then mix in a knob of butter and some black pepper.

Oriental crispy roasted kale V ♌ Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Place 200g Asda Sliced Curly Kale in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with 2tbsp sesame oil and sprinkle over 3tbsp toasted sesame seeds. Bake for 20 minutes and serve with beef, pork or a nut roast. Serves 4 CALORIES
