









































Blue Badge holders are given forward parking in all car parks, free of charge. There is no requirement to pre-book spaces (excluding Royal Ascot).
Blue Badges are shown to the Car Park Attendants on the day and guests are directed to the next available forward parking Space. This is on a first come first served basis.
The route from the train station has a steep incline so wheelchair users may need extra care. Within the Queen Anne Enclosure there is a small incline from the Plaza Lawns leading to the Parade Ring. All pathways throughout this enclosure are flat level, hard standing. There are lifts to race viewing areas.
Guests requiring accessible access can be accommodated at all Racecourse entrances. Once inside, ramps and/or lifts are available to access different areas.

For guests who have difficulty standing and wish to bring a foldable chair, these are allowed in certain enclosures. Please email access.officer@ascot.com in advance of your visit for details.
Within the Grandstand, there are a number of accessible toilets on each Level. These can be accessed using a RADAR key, available from the nearest steward and some Bet With Ascot kiosks.
Other locations include the Pavilion building (AR31) and the Old Paddock Restaurant (AR20).
Ascot Racecourse offers accessibility tours on Racedays, prior to gates opening. These are facilitated by our Accessibility Stewards. Please email access.officer@ascot.com to book.
For our guests seeking a quieter space, we provide the Sunflower Lawn, which is located on the Grundy & Bustino Lawn in front of the Owners’ & Trainers’ Restaurant to the West of the Racecourse (AQ20).
Please be advised that this area only allows viewing of the Pre-Parade Ring and Horsewalk areas. There are no big screens in this area.
There are dedicated wheelchair viewing areas in each of the enclosures. We ask that just one person or carer accompanies each accessible guest using these viewing areas to maximise the number of people that can benefit from them.

• There are viewing areas suitable for wheelchairs on the balconies of all boxes and private suites
• At the North East and North West sides of the Parade Ring (AP21 & AP24)
• Next to Pre-Parade Ring (AQ17)
For guests with sensory difficulties, we offer an alternative accessible viewing area. This is a quieter space to watch the racing. This is located on the Concourse level at aisle 16, looking out to the track, above the steppings and next to the wheelchair viewing platform (AL26).
Should you need assistance from on-site medical personnel, including paramedics, a member of staff will direct you to your nearest First Aid Point.
The main Medical Centre is located at Core D, Lawn Level (AP28).
For those guests whose needs are not immediately obvious, we are proud to offer a sunflower lanyard to show that you or someone you care for has a ‘hidden disability’. These lanyards are available from Ticket Office East and other entrances on busier Racedays.
The lanyards are yours to keep and wear on future meetings at the Racecourse.
Individual induction loops are available for use within and around the Grandstand. Induction loop hire is free of charge with a fully refundable deposit of £50 cash on the day and available from Main Reception at the Queen Anne Building (AS29) or selected Bet With Ascot units within the Grandstand.

These kits include hearing aid batteries, ratchet sets, spectacle repair kits, cable ties, blade fuses, power chair chargers, tyre inflator and dog water bowls.
These are available to guests from Main Reception in the Queen Anne Building (AS29) and the Medical Centre, at Core D, Lawn Level (AN28).
Assistance dogs are welcome at Ascot Racecourse. Dog water bowls are available from Main Reception in the Queen Anne Building (AS29) and the Medical Centre, at Core D, Lawn Level (AN28).
Should guests require a Personal Assistant in order to visit the Racecourse, you are entitled to apply for one complimentary admission ticket for a nominated individual, which can only be booked once you have purchased an admission ticket for yourself.
They must be able to provide you with assistance which might include:
• Moving around the Racecourse
• Helping you evacuate in the event of an emergency
• Assisting you in using the toilets
• Assisting you in purchasing food and refreshments or using other services
Personal Assistant tickets are available by emailing enquiries@ascot.com with photo ID and one of the following forms of documentation that clearly shows date of validity:
• Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Attendance Allowance (AA)
• Personal Independent Payment (PIP)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
• Registered Blind certification
• A Doctor’s note confirming the medical condition
Please note that the Personal Assistant policy does not apply to accessible guests under the age of 17 as it is the Racecourse policy that they must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must purchase their own ticket.
A number of manual wheelchairs are available for hire on the day, subject to availability.
Wheelchair hire is free of charge with a fully refundable deposit of £30 cash on the day and available from Ticket Office East on the High Street (AS27).
Wheelchairs should be returned to either Main Reception or the Box Holders exit at the end of the day.
Wheelchairs are the property of Ascot Racecourse and must not be taken off site or left at car parks.
