Fear Fear is what really scares me Not knowing what is what Seeing and seeing nothing Frightened of what’s in your mind And you can’t touch it or get close to it And it still sees you, and still it knows where you are at, At all times. OK, so stand up to fear And fear will let you go, Just tell fear who’s the boss And that you are not making any deals—

I Remember! I remember Santa Claus. I remember playing marbles. I remember catching bees. Do you remember your first snowball? Do you remember your first kite? Do you remember catching your first fish? Do you remember your first bike? Have you ever went camping or on a spiritual retreat, or a sports event? Do you remember going to the zoo? Do you remember being on the swings, sliding boards, monkey bars? Do you remember getting free Con Ed baseball tickets? Do you remember May Day, when you wore white and received a lunchbox that was white? The playground’s teacher was named Jimmy. Do you remember seeing the trees naked? Do you remember the colors yellow, brown, and orange? Then you remember now—you can find a shady tree. Do you remember “Moses,” “Roots,” “Imitation of Life,” and “Miracle on 34th Street”? Do you remember your first punishment, your first girlfriend, or skip, or boo-boo? Does your first job come to mind? Do you remember saying your prayers before eating and going to sleep?
