Things Could Be Worse

I am the endorphin in your brain. I am the blood in your veins. I am the majority of what your body consists of. I am the eyes that make you glad or sad. I am the fresh air that you have allowed me to breathe. I am the shoes that you have provided me with the perfect feet for— one left, one right. Things could be worse.
What Kind of person
My mother had 11 children, but only 5 of us lived, due to the fact that 6 of the children were born underweight and premature. I lost my oldest sister at 42 years of age due to malpractice, and my brother at 24 years old due to a car accident. I just knew that I wouldn’t survive past the age of 42. That’s when I started the excess of drinking, smoking marijuana, being promiscuous, and spending my whole check before I got it. But see, little did I know that I would still be here at 65 years of age.
