Location—Hillingdon Campus

Entry via Octagon Road, off St Marks Road, Darling Point

Enrolment in the 2024 Winter AHA program opens on Monday 3 June, 2024.

General Information

Age Guidelines

A student’s age/year group is taken as of the current calendar year Activities will be split into age-appropriate groups (numbers permitting).

Illness

Procedures are in place to support both students and staff. Students may be subject to temperature checks on arrival, program numbers are limited and any students who present with cold or flu symptoms will not be permitted to attend the AHA.

Location

All holiday programs take place at the Hillingdon Campus of Ascham School. Entry is off Octagon Road, Darling Point.

Drop Off and Pick Up

All students attending the programs should enter the School via the Octagon Road gates and proceed around the carpark. A car line will operate from 8.30am (for drop off) and 3 30–4pm (for pick up)

Timing

AHA programs run from 9am–3.30pm daily. Please ensure participants arrive, check-in and are collected on time.

Following Ascham Holiday Academy, optional after-hours care will operate from 3pm–6pm at an extra cost Please book: https://theircare.com.au/. Afternoon tea is provided for those in after-hours only.

Medical Conditions

Medical conditions should be disclosed at the point of booking and action plans, or relevant documentation, forwarded to the AHA Manager.

What to Bring

All participants are to wear appropriate clothing, including a hat for when outside, and closed-in shoes. All children must bring their own morning tea, lunch and drinks. Additional required items will be advised the week prior to your child’s activities

Photo Permission

Photographs may be taken by AHA staff and may be used for Ascham publications, on the website and social media. If you do not wish your child’s photograph to be used, please notify at the time of booking.

StarTime Fun Physics

Take everyday items and transform them into experiments of physics. Illustrating how gravity, friction, static electricity, kinetic energy, force, motion and magnetism interact With the help of Professor Eis-in-slime, lets turn the ordinary into the extraordinary! From pop rockets, to parachutes and the egg drop challenge, let’s discover the invisible forces that surround us

Christmas in July

Years K - 6 Wednesday 3 July 9am - 3.30pm $90

Triple Play consists of three fun and different activities which may include sport, art, cooking, dance, STEM or drama. No two Triple Play days are the same with each activity designed to engage and excite!

Join us for a day of Christmas-themed activities guaranteed to warm you up this winter! Indulge in hot cocoa sipping sessions, a cozy Christmas movie, and unleash your inner artist with mini "gingerbread" hut decorating competitions Put your skills to the test with a game of pin the tail on the reindeer. Lastly, get ready for laughter and surprises with our gift white elephant exchange (gifts provided)

Calling all dancers, singers, and actors! This is your opportunity to learn from professional Musical Theatre powerhouse, Rachael Beck A one-day extravaganza on Disney’s Frozen, complete with a stage make-up session in the morning followed by the amazing opportunity for all performers to build skills and find out what it’s like to perform on stages all around the world

An opportunity to work with the Ascham tennis coaches while focusing on skill development and agility

However it is the holiday camps, so the drills will be broken up with plenty of fun games and unique challenges, keeping the holiday spirit alive!
