History of Cylinders Cylinder have been developed over the time and their heritage can be seen in various generation. The 1st generation of cylinders was introduced between 18701880, to store liquid carbon dioxide used in industrial sector. Those were the long steel tubes without handles. Making them hard to manage. Later on, the 2nd generation Filled up some gaps of the 1st generation. These were also made from nd steel improvised and re ned shape. 2 generation of Cylinders is the most popular and known as traditional cylinders. 3rd generation cylinders were further improved by using plastic coating on metal exterior, hence to customize t h e m . H oweve r, t h e i r c y l i n d e r s continued to have t he same old drawbacks.

The advanced generation of cylinder is the latest and most sophisticated type available in the market. These are developed with aerospace technology.
