Վերամուտ 2015-2016 Մեծ ուրախութեամբ դիմաւորեցինք 20152016 դպրոցական տարեշրջանը։ Աստուծոյ շնորհքով կը յուսանք, որ ան արդիւնաւոր, բարի եւ խոստումնալից տարի մը ըլլայ։ Բարի գալուստ կը մաղթենք բոլոր մեր յարգելի ծնողներուն ի մասնաւորի նոր ընտանիքներուն, որոնք միացան մեր վարժարանին մեծ ընտանիքին։ Դպրոցի մը յաջողութիւնը կախեալ է ծնողքդպրոց համագործակցութենէն։ Ծնողներու, աշակերտներու եւ ուսուցիչներու փոխադարձ հասկացողութենէն եւ լուրջ աշխատանքէն։ Գնահատելի է ձեր ըրած զոհողութիւնները՝ ընտրելով այս վարժարանը, որպէս կրթական օճախ, ուր ձեր զաւակները հոգեւոր, բարոյական, ազգային եւ ուսումնական զարգացում կը ստանան՝ ըլլալու համար վաղուան հայը եւ քաղաքացին։ Մեր լաւագոյն մաղթանքները այս կրթական տարեշրջանին՝ 2015-2016ի համար։ Ք.Լ

Հայ Քոյրերու Վարժարանէն ներս Ուրբաթ, Հոկտեմբեր 16 ՁՕ15ի առաւօտեան ժամը 9ին տեղի ունեցաւ անմահ պատարագ եւ խաչքարի զետեղում ի յիշատակ հայոց ցեղասպանութեան հարիւրամեակի զոհերու հոգիներուն։ Օրուան Պատարագիչն էր Հիւսիսային Ամերիկայի եւ Գանատայի Հայ Կաթողիկէ Մի— աբանութեան առաջնորդ Արհիապատիւ հայր Միքայէլ Եպիսկոպոս Մուրատեան ընկերակ— ցութեամբ Կլենտէյլի հայ Կաթողիկէ աթոռանիստ եկեղեցւոյ ժողովրդապետ Հայր Անտոն Նորատունկեան։ Ներկայ էին վարժարանիս Քոյրերը, խորհրդատու Մարմնի յարգելի ան— դամներ, տիկնանց եւ մարզական յանձնախումբերու ազնիւ տիկիններ եւ մեծ թիւով ծնողներ, ուսուցչական կազմ եւ պաշտօնէութիւն։ Պատարագին՝ Սրբազան Մուրատեան իմաստալից քարոզով մը ներկաներուն բացատրեց խաչքարի իմաստը եւ բախտատական մը ըրաւ հայկական խաչի եւ բոլոր տարբեր քրիստոնէական խաչերու միջեւ, եզրակացնելով որ հայկական խաչքարերը կը ներկայացնեն մեր զօրաւոր հաւատքը՝ որ մեր քարերուն չա’ զօրաւոր է եւ այդ էր պատճառըշ որ մենք մեր հաւատքը զօրաւոր պահեցինք հակառակ թուրքի եաթաղանին եւ տակաւին այսօր ալ այդ հաւատքի զօրութիւնն է, որ մեզ կ՚առաջնորդէ։ Դո՛ւք ալ մէկուկէս միլլիոն նահատակներու ժառանգորդներն էք որ պէտք է զօրաւոր պահէք ձեր հաւատքը եւ շարունակէք անոնց աւանդը հետեւելով իրենց ձգած ուղիին։ Ապա ներկաները թափօրով ուղղուեցան դէպի վարժարանիս պարտէզը զետեղուած խաչ— քարը, ուր բոլորուած էին բոլոր աշակերտները, խաչքարի հեղիակը եւ հիւրերը։ Տնօրէնուհի Քոյր Լուսիայի բացման խօսքէն ետք՝ Սրբազան Մուրատեանի ձեռամբ տեղի ունեցաւ խաչքարի օծումը ապա աշակերտները երգեցին «Սուրբերու Աչքերը» եւ «Հանգչեցէք դուք անթորր» ապա Սրբազանի հետեւողութեամբ բոլորը երդուեցին խաչքարի վրայ հետեւիլ մեր պապերու սուրբ աւանդին միշտ անխախտ պահելու Քրիստոնէական հաւատքը։ հանդիսութիւնը աւարտեցաւ Տէրունական աղօթքի երգեցողութեամբ։

Արձակուրդ , Վերամուտ Արձակուրդ բառին հականիշըկը կարծեմ ամենէն ճիշդը Վերամուտն է: Արձակուրդը կը նմանցնեմ արձակ գրութեան , ուր ոչ հանկերգը կարեւոր է, ոչ ալ համարները . կրնաս գրել անսահման , որքան որ կ'ուզես. նոյնն է ամառնային արձաուրդը ուր աշակերտը ազատօրէն կ'ընէ իր ուզածը քնանալու, հագուելու, պտըտելու մէջ: Վերամուտին ճիշդ հակառակը, պէտք է ամենէն առաջ, կանուխ քնանալ, առօրեայ տարազը ունենայ, դասերը սորվի, դպրոցի օրէնքներուն հետեւի. Մէկ խօսքով դառնայ իր սովորական կեանքին. Նոյն իսկ ծնողները վերադառնան իրենց զաւակներուն հետ դէպի դաս , դպրոց եւ 10-նամսեայ նոր ծրագրի, ուր ուսուցիչ, աշակերտ եւ ծնողք , համագործակցաբար աշխատին որպէսզի 2015-2016 տարեշրջանը ըլլայ արդիւնաբեր տարի մը գետելիքներով եւ յաջողութեամբ օժտուած: Ահաւասիկ արդէն ամիս նը բոլորեցինք, տեղի ունեցաւ ծնողական հանդիպում, ուր անոնց փոխանցեցինք տարեկան ծրագիրը եւ որոշեցին միասնաբար աշխատիլ աշակերտները կերտելու, որովհետեւ ինչպէս առածը կ'ըսէ « Մանուկ մը դաստիարակել կը նշանաէ ազգ մը կերտել»: Ուրեմն ծնողք եւ ուսուցիչ այս հիման վրայ աշխատելով պիտի ջանան յաջողեցնել տարեկան ծարագիրը, որպէսզի իրենց զաւակներուն ուսումը հիմնեն ամուր հիմերու վրայ անոնց տալով դաստիարակութիւն, գիտելիքներ եւ ազգասիրութիւն: Ազգասիրութիւնը կարեւոր է, որովհետեւ այսօրերուս Չինաստանի մէջ երբ տարբեր ազգերու զաւակներ մեծ ուրախութեամբ , կը սորվին մեր ոսկեղնիկ մայրենի լեզուն եւ կը փափաքին այցելել Հայաստան, որպէսզի մօտէն տեսնեն այս հարուստ մշակոյթ ունեցող ազգին հայրենիքը: Մենք որպէս հայ ազգի զաւակներ զարկ տանք մեր լիզուն եւ հայրենիքը պաշտպանելով մեր զաւակներուն քաջալերենք հայերէն խօսիլ, սիրել եւ գիտակցիլ մեր 1000-ամեայ պատմութեան եւ հապարտ զգալ հայ կոչուելուն համար: Բարի Վերամուտ իւրաքանչիւրիս:

Student Council Activities On Friday, September 18, 2015, the 8th Grade Student Council members of Armenian Sisters' Academy went to the Providence High School for a Leadership Program for ASB Students. The day started off with a game called Ice-Breaker. It was a game to start us off talking with the other students from other schools. A few minutes into the game, I was laughing and joking with other kids from other schools. After that, we went to Providence’s beautiful chapel, and we celebrated Mass. We prayed for peace on Earth, the refugees from Syria, and our own special intentions. After Mass, we were on break. While snacking on bagels, muffins, and other treats, we chatted with out new friends from other school’s student councils. We shared stories and concerns. We all want to make our schools better, but we have limitations on how we can do this. We then listened to a great talk about our obligation to serve and to lead the students of our school through the practice of servant leadership. Students in council are not bosses of students, but are required to work for the students in order to make the Armenian Sisters Academy even better than it is now. We are part of the school community, and our job is to be a bridge between students and administration. After the presentation, we had a group reflection and then a game within our group. Each group consisted of two or three schools, talking, and playing games. Each group had a leader or two from the Providence Student council. We played a “best friend” game, which helped us find a best friend from the other school we were paired up with. After another great presentation, we feasted on pizza, cookies, water, and soda. When we finished demolishing the pizza, we headed over to a room where we made posters about our goals for the year. We presented them to the other student leaders, We then wrote a pledge, in which, we promised to honor our commitment to serve the students at our school. All the council members signed our pledge. We ended the day with a prayer. It was truly a fun and educational day. I promise to honor my commitment to serve. Mary Kushkerian
Family Night Once again this year the Parents Auxiliary hosted a Family Night on September 24, 2015 at the school’s Danielian Hall. The evening was filled with lots of noise and laughter and as always with lots and lots of food. The evening was a great success. Thanks to all the parents for their support and donations. ASA STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN JOHN HOPKINS UNIVERSITY TALENT SEARCH ASA 6th,7th and 8th graders will participate in the John Hopkins university talent search that conducts national and international talent searchers to recognize academic talent. Students who achieve at the 95 th percentile or higher on one or more areas (math, or language arts composite scores) on the nationally normed IOWA test are eligible to participate. Eligible students for the 20015-2016 search are the following:
