I’m completing my RIBA Part II Diploma through the RIBA Studio at Oxford Brookes University while working at Lovell Ozanne in Guernsey. I’m interested in how architecture can improve the way people experience their surroundings while also responding responsibly to the environment. For me, a successful project is one that works for its users, fits its context, and reduces its environmental impact.

I tend to experiment between digital tools and physical model making to explore and refine ideas, balancing creativity with technical accuracy. My approach is shaped by collaboration and real-world constraints, with an emphasis on sustainable strategies that improve building performance and long-term resilience.

Travel and varied project experience have given me an appreciation of architecture as cultural, layered, and closely tied to place. A short course in Passivhaus and climate-responsive design has strengthened my commitment to integrating environmental performance into every stage of the design process.
This portfolio presents selected projects that reflect these values ,ideas developed through practical engagement with people, place, and context.

THE FUTURE OF ART IS AN EXCLUSIVE ART SCHOOL
LOCATED IN BIRKENHEAD - EXPLORES HOW ART & THECNOLOGY COMES TOGETHER IN ONE BUILDING.
The design draws on Bauhaus principles, using the circle as a guiding form for both the building’s layout and its circulation. This reference to Bauhaus education reflects the ongoing relationship between art, design, science, and cultural change. By considering new understandings of human biology and psychology, the project imagines future directions for art and design that are both functional and visually compelling.
The scheme integrates emerging fields such as biodesign and bioart, creating opportunities for both aesthetic innovation and practical application. As a cultural landmark, the art school supports the local community by providing spaces for creativity, learning, and artistic exchange, while contributing to Birkenhead’s cultural and economic development.

Located in Lake District
This project draws on the mass and geometry of local tectonic formations to create spatial thresholds that immerse visitors in the surrounding landscape. The architecture uses locally sourced materials, embedding the structure into the geology of Gummers How and reinforcing its connection to place. The building envelopes its occupants in the terrain, enhancing both environmental and experiential engagement.

By designing a multi-storey functional building that services berberic rug shop, weaving workshop, cafe, exhibition space. This responds to the idea of fashion driven practice, creating an atmospheric analogy creating a skin to body. The proposal breaks the contrast of the surrounding heavy masonry with its forward sustainable facade which reminiscences new clothes being placed over the old which complements the modern building opposite the site.

In Ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang is a concept of dualism, describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may be complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, thus how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
As you begin your first step up the stairs reaching each set of landings, you have the ability to absorb different views. The asymmetry has been influenced by the philosophy of Ying Yang, this is used in the proposal not as lack of symmetry or balance but to evoke feelings of movement as 2 sets of hierarchy black and white. The colour red was influenced by the National Theatre in London ‘the shed’ by Haworth Tompkins, as colour red evokes many emotions such as love, passion, desire are all emphasized on the stage during a performance allowing the building itself to make a statement befitting of its function.

I contributed to the latest design proposal for a new M&S retail store, focusing on visual communication and client engagement. My responsibilities included producing highquality photomontages and Lumion renders that integrated the proposed design into its real-world context. These visuals were used to support client presentations and promotional materials, helping communicate the store’s spatial qualities and commercial appeal. This project deepened my understanding of the role visual storytelling plays in securing client buy-in and demonstrated how effective renderings can bridge the gap between concept and reality.

I contributed to the design development of Le Requin, a private residential project, with a focus on key interior spaces. My involvement included helping to design the boot room and the kitchen interior, where I explored spatial layout, material finishes, and functional detailing to support the client’s lifestyle and preferences. This experience strengthened my understanding of domestic spatial design and how thoughtful interiors can enhance both everyday routines and the overall character of a home.

I designed a comprehensive architectural model of the Guernsey Football Association stadium using Revit, incorporating spatial planning, structural elements, and site context. To visually communicate the proposal and enhance its presentation, I created a short animated video highlighting key design features and spatial sequences. I also produced a series of high-quality rendered images under varying lighting conditions to capture the atmosphere and intended functionality of the space. This project demonstrates my skills in BIM, digital rendering, and multimedia visualisation.

The first architectural project I worked on was Le Rondin School Library in Guernsey, designed for children with special educational needs. The aim was to create a calm, inclusive, and sensory-friendly learning environment. I contributed to the project by developing visual renders and building the physical model, which helped communicate the design intent clearly. This experience taught me the value of empathy in architecture and how thoughtful spatial decisions can positively support wellbeing and learning.
