Inspirado pela ópera de Paris, desde 1911 o Theatro Municipal de São Paulo vem sendo palco de diversas atrações, evoluindo com o passar dos anos, desde quando era uma forma de entretenimento para a elite até os dias de hoje, acolhendo todo tipo de público. É o cartão postal da cidade, localizado no centro de São Paulo. Possui uma grande arquitetura, eventos gratuitos e pagos, e um público diversificado. É hoje um patrimônio histórico que apresenta as maiores produções líricas do país.

Inspired by the Opera of Paris, since 1911 the Municipal Theater of São Paulo has been the scene of different attractions, evolving over the years, since it was a form of entertainment for the elite until t oday, welcoming all kinds of public.

It is the postcard of the city, located in the center of São Paulo, facilitating public access. It has a great architecture, free and paid events, and a diverse audience. It is nowadays a historical patrimony that presents the greatest lyrical productions of the country.
