1901 Establishment of purchase and sales company AVV as a separate limited liability company. As a successor to the Consumption Committee of Boerenbond, AVV started to develop commercial operations.

The first half of the 20th century The agricultural market grows after the 1920s. AVV establishes warehouses all around, with 190 warehouses established by 1929. The company opens its own animal feed factory in Merksem, a dairy auction in Hasselt, and a butter market in Brussels.
