The Economics Department at Ashoka University ranked ﬁrst in India by RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) in 2020

Ashoka was ranked 2nd among top 100 private universities in India by Education World in 2019-20

Ashoka was awarded University of the Year (in existence for less than 10 years) at the 4th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards in 2017

Commenced graduate programme (YIF), certiﬁcates co-signed with University of Pennsylvania

Construction of the 25-acre campus commenced in Sonipat, Haryana

2013

Signed partnerships with University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, Carleton College and Sciences

First UG batch Graduated 1,360 students on campus

Launched natural sciences Masters & PhD Programs

2014

Commenced the UG program with 130 students; KCL and UC Berkeley signed as partner universities

Reached a strength of 2,500+ students & 500 full-time faculty and

3,750cr ($500mn) required to make long-term investments accross priority areas
