Comedian Tracy Morgan critically injured 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live alum and comedian Tracy Morgan has been hospitalized after being injured critically in a deadly multi-vehicle crash in New Jersey, reports say. The 45-year-old was riding in a Mercedes Sprinter limo bus on a highway near Cranbury Township when a semi-truck (also called a tractor-trailer, or big rig) slammed into it at about 1 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 7, causing it to overturn, NBC New York quoted a police official as saying. Another semi-truck, an SUV and two cars were also involved in the accident, which killed a 62-year-old man, authories say. The victim, James McNair, is also a comedian who used the stage name Jimmy Mack. "Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital," his rep told E! News. "He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don't anticipate much of a change in his condition for this week but will provide a further update once more information becomes available."

Bolt is OUT for Paris Golden Spike Meet A foot injury that hampered a part of his early season preparation has forced the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, to opt out of competing at the Ostrava Golden Spike Diamond League meet set for June 17 as well as the Meeting Areva in Paris on July 5. The 100-metre and 200-metre world record holder has not been in competition so far this season, but his fans will have to wait a while longer to see him. In a message posted yesterday on his website under the heading 'Not yet ready for Ostrava or Paris' Bolt said: "As reported a few weeks ago I had to miss some training in late March and early April due to a foot injury. Thankfully my foot is 100 per cent healthy now and I am back in full training. Great events Unfortunately, due to the training that I missed I am behind where I am normally at this time of year and will not be ready to race in the Ostrava Golden Spike Meet or Meeting Areva in Paris." Bolt said the events he will miss are great events that he has competed at many times in the past and that he intends to compete at in the future as he has a lot of support in both countries. "I always get good reception there," Bolt said. The sprinter who took home three gold medals from the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Moscow last year said he is not rushing back to competition especially when one considers that he has three consecutive major championship years to prepare for, but assured his fans that he will be back in action soon. "How soon will depend on my training in the next few weeks," he said.
