The AC Symposium of Learning is a new opportunity for our diploma, Birches, capstone students, musicians, visual artists, writers, poets, mathematicians, scientists, and student clubs and leaders to showcase their learning. It allows you to share and communicate your unique learning experiences, inspire your peers, and exercise agency and autonomy over your learning.

Students will have the opportunity to present their work in multiple ways throughout the morning. Symposium Day begins with messages from our alumni, followed by four sessions throughout the morning, concluded with a musical performance in the CPC.

Expectations for the Day

• Attend all sessions on your schedule (attendance will be taken)

• Actively participate and ask questions.

• Be on time. Blocks are 30 minutes long, and we want to respect the presenters’ time.

• Return to advisory at the end of the day to complete the reflection form. This is a requirement for the day.

• Be Respectful of the presenters. They are taking a risk and standing up before their peers to share their learning.

This is a day of learning, and students are expected to be at school to participate. ALL MS and US students will participate in Fun Fest activities in the afternoon.
