Meet Three Key Masters of Contemporary Art
Clémentine Chambon, a graduate of ENSCI and the Boulle School, served as a project manager for the Qantas A380 project at Marc Newson's (2003-2006) Her passion for the aerospace industry and its innovation through design guided her. Her project "Luminous Curtain," a curtain made of optical fibers, marked the beginning of her research into luminous emotion and sensory technologies. As the co-founder of Design Percept Studio alongside Françoise Mamert, they combine creativity and technological awareness to rethink the industry Their collaboration has been expressed through innovative projects and exceptional pieces, with a harmonious approach that fosters co-creation Since 2014, Clémentine Chambon has been exploring furniture with companies such as Bonacina 1889 and Roche Bobois, bringing organic forms into our living spaces.
Chloé Kelly Miller, an artist born in Rouen in 1995, began her artistic journey in 2018 while studying psychology with a focus on psychoanalysis Her art explores the unconscious mind through various mediums such as photography, painting, and drawing. Portraits are central to her creations, unveiling hidden truths and delving into identity
Inspired by pop culture and personal narratives, she reinterprets artistic heritage in a personal way Her artistic diversity allows her to capture spontaneity. She draws inspiration from artists like Dali and Basquiat to express her own truth Graduating in clinical psychology in 2019, she continues her studies while exhibiting and collaborating with other creators Her art extends and questions beyond borders and language.

He likes to work in a variety of media and to divert everyday objects to sublimate the world around him The intuitive side of his work counterbalances the precision and rigor inherent in the realization of his works
"This apparent opposition balances everything out and allows me to maintain a threshold of excitement that is essential to the realization of my paintings "
A skateboarding enthusiast since his teens, he naturally decided to turn to this medium He uses used skateboards, giving them a second life. It's a way for him to merge his two passions and pay tribute to them
Secondly, we work on design, where we like to draw inspiration from different eras and know-how to create places, furniture and objects that are singular and timeless "
"We both make a point of creating bold, functional projects Our job is to tell a story by making spaces as pleasant and fit for purpose as possible. We always try to optimize spaces according to our customers' lifestyles.
"We recently worked with several galleries to select the artworks for the apartments we're renovating It's important that the art is seamlessly integrated into our project and echoes the architecture Art is ultimately an extension of our work."
Ryan Lawson draws inspiration from Italian Futurist furniture of the 1920s, modernism with the Wiener Werkstatte, wooden furniture from the Amsterdam school, Bauhaus textiles, French ceramics from the 1960s-1970s, Japanese indigo textiles, Bargello needlework, as well as books such as Suzanne Slesin's "French Style" and Jean Demachy's "Esprit Collection"
Passionate about art, Lawson constantly explores galleries, auctions, books and inspiring interiors Despite advising moderation, his tastes extend to all media and eras. In Lawson's office, he admires works by Alma Allen, Abel Macias, Otis Jones, Matt Kleberg, Alec Soth, Hassan Hajjaj, and many others
Robert Combas, a French artist born in Lyon in 1957, played a key role in the Figuration Libre movement of the 1980s. Rejecting the dominant conceptual art, he adopted a style based on shapes and contours Along with other artists, he founded Figuration Libre, a joyful, popular movement in contrast to the austerity of the 1970s His themes include popular culture, music and simplicity His work has been exhibited internationally, leaving an important mark on contemporary art.
Shepard Fairey, aka Obey, is an American artist born in Charleston in 1970. He began his career as a graphic designer at the age of 14, influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol He is best known for his street art campaign featuring the image of wrestler André the Giant in the 1980s, as well as his iconic "HOPE" poster of Barack Obama in 2008 Despite legal controversies, his museum exhibitions have met with great success He continues to engage with social and political issues, as demonstrated by his mural in support of renewable energies in Munich in 2022.
Arman was a sculptor from Nice, France, who became a naturalized American citizen and died in 2005. He is known for his accumulations of objects, as well as for his - no less famous - temper His father, a secondhand dealer and art enthusiast, introduced the young Arman to art and music, which influenced the rest of his career In fact, musical instruments feature prominently in his work Arman was interested in the status of the object and modern society's relationship with it, between sacralization and consumption. While his sculptures convey an image of profusion, they also underline the perishable nature of products in a society of abundance
