Welcome to ArtsEd! Who are all these people and what do they do? When you start anywhere new: school, college, university or job, it can take time getting to know who everyone is. Here is a list of some of the people who you may come in contact with. Remember – we have an open door policy so never feel you can’t talk to anyone. CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION THE ACTING PRINCIPAL

Julie Spencer has overall responsibility for ArtsEd, including the School of Musical Theatre, the School of Acting and the Day School & Sixth Form. Nichola Milner is her PA. Yewande Akindele is Julie Spencer’s Deputy. Mike Stewart deals with fees. These must be paid before the first day of term. Frank Daniel is responsible for anything to do with the building. Di Stedman is responsible for the technical side of all productions in the theatres The IT Manager, IT Administrator and IT Assistant look after ArtsEd’s IT network and computers. You can contact them via helpdesk@artsed.co.uk John Antrobus is responsible for the Library, assisted in the afternoons by Karen Smith.

Julie Spencer has overall responsibility for all acting courses. Steven Kavuma is your Head of Year. He will meet with you and all the other Foundation Course students each week to monitor progress. Discuss with him any problems you or the group might have. Justin Pierre is responsible for all acting classes. Michael Hayden is responsible for all voice classes. Gabrielle Nimo is responsible for all your dance classes. Laurie-Ann McQuire and Simon Robinson are your first port of call for any day-to-day queries. David Bumpstead is the Registrar, and also arranges learning support for students who need it.
