You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to:

Knowledge and understanding • understand the initial practical approaches to a piece of text • further develop your understanding of basic stagecraft

How will I learn?

You will take part in a series of workshop classes, and will work with a scene partner on a contemporary duologue, to be performed at the end of term 2 for an audience of students and staff. You will reflect on your learning in a written journal.

You will learn to collaborate, to contribute your own ideas and to develop the work of others in the creation a piece of devised theatre.

What will I be expected to achieve?

You will be expected to demonstrate your ability to:

Skills • produce your own creative ideas • work creatively and generously with others • use improvisation techniques to devise a piece of theatre

How will I learn?

You will take part in a series of workshop classes culminating in a group showing to staff from the Lyric. You will keep a journal in which to record your tutor’s feedback and your own reflections on your learning.
