Marketing & Arts Administration Volunteer Duration: 3 months

Purpose of Post This 3-month volunteering opportunity is an ideal stepping stone for someone looking for a career in arts marketing or arts administration. You will gain work experience in a multi-disciplinary arts centre. The role is split between the Marketing and Arts Administration departments. You will help to promote a range of art forms including comedy, theatre, music, dance, visual arts and children’s shows, as well as supporting the arts administration function. The opportunity is offered on a minimum of three days per week. artsdepot will reimburse the successful applicant for travel expenses (within reason), and offer free tickets to artsdepot events where possible. There may be the opportunity to gain paid employment as a Front of House casual steward alongside this volunteering. Reporting to: Marketing & PR Officer and Programming and Events Officer Responsibilities include:

Provide administrative and research support to the Programming and Events Officer. Liaise with artistic companies, hirers and users of artsdepot as required.

Update the website with shows and events, and manage third party online listings.

Liaise with visiting companies regarding print. To over-stick print where needed, distribute print to libraries and community groups, and ensure the print room is in good order.

Research community groups to target for marketing campaigns, promote shows to these groups and help keep existing mailing lists up-todate.

Process ticket giveaways for schools and community groups.
