This work marks the beginning of a cycle dedicated to German mythology. At its center is Rübezahl, a mountain spirit capable of taking on many forms. Known for his stern yet fair nature, Rübezahl rewards individuals according to their actions.
In this interpretation, the artist embodies the spirit as a mystical owl an ancient symbol of wisdom and watchfulness The owl observes the traveler, gazing into their soul to judge whether they are worthy of life or destined to find their final refuge in the cold embrace of the mountains

Soil Tarnish Aesthetic Radiance These ancient concepts are intentionally layered into the work both in subject and style as a reflection of contemporary anxieties and enduring fascinations The piece becomes a visual document of the tensions we navigate today, where beauty and decay, earth and light, coexist in symbolic interplay
A muted sky stretches endlessly over barren land or sea, where silence lingers like a living presence
The horizon, a faint, trembling line, whispers tales of forgotten dreams
Traces of life an ancient tree’s shadow, a deserted path linger like echoes in the desolation
A solitary figure stands at the canvas’s edge, blurred between memory and being, gazing toward the distant horizon Red streaks hint at lost warmth, while muted blues melt into weeping skies. “Silent Horizon” invites reflection, its stillness speaking of loss, resilience, and hope waiting just beyond the void.

Fertile soil I.
Fertile soil II.
Fertile soil III.
"Fertile soil" intends to convey the feeling of female fortitude, natural neutrality, and feminine strenght."
Faint faces emerge and dissolve echoes of forgotten stories that hover at the edge of memory Silent and unseen, they linger in the shadows, watching Their presence is enigmatic: Who are they? What have they witnessed? The painting offers no answers, only a quiet invitation to wonder.
Take your time. Perhaps they will see you before you see them.

This fragmented poem, exploring the confusing nature of the English language, began as an experiment in scale and proportion Over time, it evolved into an unintentional meditation on linguistic complexity and the way certain words can dissolve into a kind of visual white noise.
Each panel was individually created and later assembled onto a larger canvas. All letters and characters were hand-cut and meticulously glued, either directly onto the panels or the canvas, emphasizing the physical labor of language and its layered construction

This poem speaks to heartache, healing, and the act of severing ties with past love Originally written in the summer of 2012, it remained hidden until now its emotional relevance resurfacing and inviting reinterpretation through a contemporary lens
The choice of color is intentional: blue evokes sadness, while green signals renewal In this way, color becomes a silent narrator, shaping the tone as the viewer moves through the text reading not just words, but emotional transitions embedded in hue

This still life explores the quiet beauty of everyday objects Through careful composition and sensitive attention to light, the artist captures moments of stillness and simplicity
Drawn to the interplay between natural forms and man-made items, the work creates a subtle dialogue between texture, color, and space inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the elegance found in the ordinary

This interior painting explores the relationship between space, light, and memory The artist is fascinated by the way everyday rooms, familiar furniture, and quiet corners can evoke deep emotion and tell unspoken stories
Through layered color and subtle shifts in perspective, the work creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and reflective inviting the viewer into a space where personal and collective memory quietly unfold.
A mythic triptych unfolds an archetypal vessel comprised of woman, man, and goddess. From the silent, generative body of Harmony, an angel emerges: an unseen spirit traced within her form. The man, positioned between the figures, is not dominant but liminal a threshold presence. To his right stands Discord: violet, radiant, and mute the force that unravels what Harmony weaves. At the center lies the vessel womb, portal, reliquary not containing an object, but holding a charged field of cosmic tension
Three forces One origin
Angelus ex Homnia, Vir inter Deas, Discordia ultima
A sacred act where the body gives birth to the spirit, and art reveals the myth
Günther stands hieratic not animal, but archetype His spiralling plumage is not mere ornamentation, but a form of visual speech a force that reshapes the space around him Orbiting his presence are the muses: autonomous, enigmatic, divine.
To the left, a flowing figure in warm hues; to the right, a sculptural deity rendered in cobalt. Between them, barely visible, a gaze emerges veiled and suspended. Günther does not chase the muses; he summons them.
The painting becomes a theatre of revelation, where presence, performance, and symbolic magnetism converge He reigns, and in that reign, the hidden begin to reveal themselves
The "true eyes" are symbolic of the wisdom possessed by a deeply insightful individual, with the tree itself representing this figure Each eye attached to the tree expands its symbolic capacity, suggesting the generation and amplification of wisdom
This accumulation points toward a potential maximization of awareness wisdom not as a static trait, but as a living, growing force that guides one toward a fuller, more intentional life
Bathed in the golden glow of sunset, a woman stands amidst blooming lupine Warm light caresses her skin, casting an ethereal radiance that evokes serenity and stillness.
As the colors shift, her profound connection to nature emerges silent strength, effortless grace, and the fleeting beauty of the moment converge in quiet harmony.

Suspended between strength and serenity, this intimate portrait captures a moment of quiet defiance. The subject’s upward gaze and flowing hair echo classical compositions while the expressive brushwork breathes contemporary emotion into timeless beauty.

This piece speaks of the creative powers of the Divine Feminine - to me, it's like looking directly into the womb - it's chaotic, messy, dark, destructive, ruthless, brutal, painful and powerful. It is creation, and from it comes something beautiful, maybe not in the way you expect, but beautiful nonetheless
This piece was deeply emotional for me It represents the often violent silencing of women across generations, the pain and persecution they had to endure, the passing down of this trauma to subsequent generations until it meets a cycle breaker like me that refuses to pass it on any further, that sits with it and feels it all fully, heals the wounds and lets them go
"Dancing Coffee" is a diptych series created in 2023, painted using Nkusi’s distinctive technique of mixing coffee grounds with acrylics. The series draws inspiration from the flowing river streams and expansive lakes that define East Africa’s “Great Lakes Region.” Through texture, movement, and organic material, the work evokes the rhythm and vitality of the landscapes that shaped the artist’s visual language.

The painting began with intention, but quickly evolved perhaps even spiraled into something else. At one point, it felt overworked, prompting the idea to wrap it in ropes, as if containment might restore balance. It didn’t. So more paint followed. The result is not just a painting, but a record of a long, uncertain, and exploratory journey a reflection of the creative process itself: layered, unresolved, and deeply human

Between naturalism and impressionism, perhaps close to the Macchiaioli in Italy, Maria T Molner's painting seduces the popular soul
Extracts of nature that take shape thanks to the painter’s refined hand, which shine with their own light thanks to the use of fascinating oil paint. The memory (impression) of oil on the canvas vividly recreates the vibrancy of an English summer.
Rebirth and the Eternal Cycle of Life
The spiral known as “ηδίνη” (dini) in Greek is a timeless symbol of creation and transformation. It embodies the movement through which life emerges and evolves
Found throughout nature, the spiral reveals itself in ancient shells, the unfurling of galaxies, and the structure of our own DNA We live within a spiral galaxy, our fingerprints carry its form, and even the force of a tornado echoes its motion This recurring geometry reminds us that life is not linear, but cyclical forever spiraling through birth, death, and renewal
Women are often perceived as beautiful, fragile, or weak, yet there is a profound clarity and strength in those who endure hardship and challenge societal norms. This strength is not loud but deeply rooted, a quiet rebellion against imposed standards that reveals the resilience and power inherent in the female experience.
A girl without eyes swings gently, suspended by ropes anchored to a shark, an embodiment of her deepest fears The surreal scene unfolds within the realm of her imagination; nothing is real, and this is precisely why she has no eyes, symbols of inward vision rather than sight Her feet barely graze the water below, further emphasizing the dreamlike quality of the moment.
The work explores the delicate balance between fear and fantasy, vulnerability and escape, as experienced through the boundless lens of the subconscious.
The artist’s most recent works seek to capture fragments of everyday modern life, an effort to distill the emotional texture of the present moment, the Zeitgeist.
Through these pieces, the artist expresses a deep appreciation for equity, inclusion, and diversity, values that are increasingly under threat The work reflects both the urgency and the quiet beauty found within our shared contemporary experience
"I want to become that child again the one who finds joy in collecting small wonders from the chaos, who isn’t concerned with gain or loss, who remains undistracted by the world around her A child free to dive deep into the ocean of wonder, exploring it through her own senses " - Shubhi Gupta

A delicate swirl of soft pastel hues yellows, blues, greens, and hints of red gently blends and rotates around a central point. The blurred motion evokes a sense of purity and wonder, reminiscent of a childhood dreamscape. This abstract vortex feels peaceful yet dynamic, inviting viewers to lose themselves in the tender, swirling innocence of its colours and shapes.
This piece symbolizes personal growth, resilience, and transformation A woman merges with a tree, her face extending into branches, an image that reflects humanity’s deep connection to the natural world Rendered in spring tones that evoke renewal and vitality, the work fuses human and vegetal elements to express harmony, adaptability, and unity with nature.
The upward gaze of the figure suggests a moment of awakening and expansion, emphasizing the strength that lies within. "I Am Tree" invites viewers to reconnect with their inner essence, embracing the cyclical rhythms of nature as a path to self-discovery and evolution.
