Are you a budding entrepreneur keen to enhance your enterprising skills and develop your business ideas?

This degree was the first of its kind in the UK and the perfect degree if you aspire to innovate, challenge the status quo, and create the sustainable businesses of the future.

This is a practical degree which is built around condensed teaching days providing you with the majority of the working week to spend on your placement in year one and in Cardiff Met’s dedicated start-up incubator in the second and third year. During the second year all students will launch their own business venture and focus on business growth in their third year.

You will be given a dedicated business mentor throughout your time at Cardiff Met who will help and guide you throughout your start-up journey, developing your entrepreneurial attributes and networks.

This degree has been developed and will be delivered by experts in the relevant field of studies. These will include start-up managers, accountants, law experts and entrepreneurs whose expertise and experience in business start-up is invaluable.

BA (Hons)

Typical modules

You will be provided with the theoretical underpinning of entrepreneurship and business management. In addition, you will study the foundations of marketing, law, information technology (digital, data and the web) and accounting. Typical core modules might include:

• Finance for Entrepreneurs

• Launching a Start-up

• Ethical Supply Chain Management

• You will stand out for your ability to apply theoretical knowledge within a practical environment.

• You will graduate with your own established business and be equipped with the skills and expertise to work within managerial positions, start-up companies in fields such as Advertising, Finance, Branding and PR.

• The course also provides entry onto a wide range of taught Master’s and research degrees within the University.
