Education and Social Policy facilities
Designed to enrich our students’ learning experience and employability, we have many specialist teaching spaces that provide critical opportunities for practicebased learning on campus.

These include an Outdoor Learning Centre and forest school, science and psychology laboratories, art and design workshops, media and IT suites, music studio and a dedicated education library.
Our specialist setting, Froebel House, enables our initial teacher education and primary education students to learn about Froebel’s principles and practices of play in early childhood learning. The house integrates indoor and outside spaces providing our students to have interactive ‘hands-on’ experiences of block play, clay, woodwork and gardening.
In addition, our criminology and professional policing students benefit from our new Crime Scene House at the Cyncoed campus, which incorporates a custody suite, observation and surveillance suite, and a suspect interview room; plus, a purpose-built Moot Court room at the Llandaff campus.
