Follow the tracing dots to create your own masterpiece! This is a leaf from one of Henri Matisse colorful cutouts artworks. The artist mainly used painted paper and scissors to create different shapes and patterns!

FUN FACTS All about colors! • Squid ink was extracted and used as black ink to write and draw! • Red Ochre pigment is one of the oldest colors used, and it can be traced back to cave paintings. The pigment itself came from an insect found on cacti plants in Mexico! • Lapis Lazuli, or Blue, came from gemstones only found on a mountain in Afghanistan. It was as expensive as gold! You can find this special blue color in Ancient Egyptian art.
