How long have you known TTG? How long have you been playing their guitars?

How long have I known TTG? From before its inception! When Matt was building guitars in his old house in Westminster, CO. 2009 probably. I have (at least) 7 TTG Guitars. My main ones I play most are the Challenger, the crazy BC Rich shaped one, a Les Paul copy and a Strat.

Give a shout out to the bands you play in...

I play with and practice regularly with The Born Readies. The singer, Chris, also plays TTG guitars. I am also in the legendary HAWK ATTACK with Matt and JJJ from Texas Toast. We are currently "hibernating" but are ready to spring into action at a moment's notice!

How long have you been playing guitar and how many bands have you been in?

I have been playing guitar for almost 39 years! My first lesson was the same week as the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, January 1986. I should be a lot better by now! I have been in 12 or so bands over the years. Some did little more than drink and practice.

Why do you choose to grab a TTG guitar for gigs? What do you like about it?

I choose to play TTG's because they look, sound, and play great. They are classic and always reliable. I mostly love that I am playing something hand crafted by my friends! There is a real pride in that! Gibsons and Fenders are cool and all, but I don't know the guys make them!

What is your favorite era of music? Favorite bands from that era?

Favorite era is probably the 70's. It's when a lot of genres first developed (punk, metal, funk, southern rock, disco...) and there was a lot of variety. Favorite bands of the era? ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Ramones, Thin Lizzy, Parliament/Funkadelic, AC/DC, Raspberries, Slade, Bowie, Big Star, T. Rex, Yes, Neil Young, ABBA...I could go on. Oh, and KISS! I honestly wouldn't know how to rock without them.

Fun factoids: I have only lived in the 3 states beginning with the letter C. Also, my parents used to live next to Rob Zombie.
