Visit the D-Day museum adjacent to the coach park which houses the Overlord Embroidery, the Castle, a short walk away, built in 1544 by Henry Vlll, admission to which is free. Our driver will drop you at either place. Canterbury is home to the oldest church in England, the stunning Cathedral dominates the city. There are excellent walks and trails or take a boat trip on the River Stour, with great restaurants, shops and a lively atmosphere, it is a wonderful place to visit. Herne Bay is a traditional seaside town with great beaches, colourful beach huts and excellent water activities.

November Saturday 14th Birmingham Christmas Market

Christmas Spectacular Today we travel to the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market and Craft Fair. Held in the Victoria Square and New Street there are over 180 stalls many from Frankfurt, Birmingham’s twin city. Local traders also hold a Craft Fair at the same time nearby. Coupled together the two markets create an incredible atmosphere and a unique shopping experience, a delightful experience for all.

Saturday 21st Gloucester Victorian Christmas

Today we visit Gloucester for their Victorian Christmas where you can browse around more than 130 decorated stalls whilst mixing with larger than life Victorian characters, there to entertain and amuse you. Watch the street entertainers and enjoy the music and carols from brass bands and choirs, a full and exciting day, it won’t seem long enough.

Christmas Fayre

Today we travel to the Christmas Fayre in the historic Suffolk market town of Bury St Edmunds where the centre will be transformed into a wonderful Christmas Market with over 300 stalls, stages set up for entertainment and a large variety of street entertainers including Brass Bands and choirs, With a large shopping centre close by and a huge variety of Cafes and restaurants it all promises a perfect day.

December Saturday 5th Rochester Dickensian Festival

The festival celebrates the life and works of Charles Dickens

and is a great day out for the whole family. With a traditional Christmas Market, brass bands, parades, carol singers and Dickensian characters mingling amongst the crowd, this is one trip not to be missed.
