Introducing the new Acting Principal Neil Sproal I have been a teacher and principal in the Western Region for 33 years. Prior to starting at Laverton College on the 18th July, I was Principal at Williamstown North Primary School for about ten years. Prior to that I was Principal at Deer Park Primary School for four and a half years. Deer Park P.S. has since relocated into the Cairnlea Estate and is known as Cairnlea Park Primary School.

I have watched the development of the Laverton P-12 College over the past three years and I have greatly admired the work done by my predecessor, Jeff Bell. Laverton now has a school facility, equal to anywhere in our state. It is fantastic to see the pride being shown by the students and staff in their new school. The future is very exciting for the Laverton community as we provide a terrific education for all children. I look forward to meeting members of the Laverton community.

What a fantastic school Laverton P-12 has become now that all the buildings are in use. When stage 3 money is granted and the last part of the reconstruction is complete it will be even more amazing. Each building is specified as a separate learning section with different colours outside to guide you. The fact that the community can meet here is also a bonus which brings the residents and school community together.
