Studying successful existing structures gives architects an exceptional precedent for how to start to break this complicated system down into more manageable pieces.

This project focuses on the method of construction used in a selected corner of the Pod Brooklyn Hotel in New York City. The hotel is created using prefabricated units for the hotel rooms. These are placed in a framework of structural hallways which were built on the site. As prefabricated construction is still an emerging typology, this structure serves as proof of its feasibility.
