News - With the deadline for nominations to run in the Oct. 27 municipal elections just over two weeks away (Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.), the entry of three new candidates has added interest in the contests. The filing of former Cumberland councillor Frank Dugal to run for a counciller position in the Town of Arnprior (see Page 4) has ensured there will be an election.
