To the Rescue

The ALC & Cafe 100 relies on their prime vendor to deliver food and supplies weekly to serve the Arnold AFB Community. On 17 August, the delivery truck was incapable of delivering. Enter Bud Schell!

ARNOLD LAKESIDE COMPLEX CLOSED ON Bud, a Recycling Center employee, took OCTOBER 6, 13, & 20 time out of his busy work day to meet with the truck in order for our customers to be able to eat for the week.

REVIEW

Arnold Services held the inaugural SummerFest on Saturday, August 12. It was a great day of fun in the sun! Car show participants were lined perfectly across the waterline making for a beautiful backdrop. Children and adults alike had fun with water games and pie eating contest. Highlights from the day include: Col Gordon participating in the Dunk Tank, "Gilligan" sinking in the cardboard boat race, along with "Rose" from Titanic's fabulous finish, the immensely popular pie eating contest that drew a crowd, petting zoo complete with a baby kangaroo, DJ, and Sweets N Such vendor.

Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed their time. We hope to host SummerFest bigger and better next year!
