Ava Maloney What is your favorite part about working at Outdoor Recreation?

My favorite part of working for Outdoor Recreation has been the people I work with. Since the beginning, there has been a feeling of family, and everyone looks out for each other inside and outside of the office. I know I can trust them to provide support if it is ever needed.

There is no team I would rather be a part of.

What do you wish the AEDC community knew about Outdoor Recreation?

I believe everyone within the AEDC community should take advantage of all of our monthly programs offered to them.

It gives back to us so we can plan bigger events for them in the future. Some of my favorites include the Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat, Goat Yoga, and the Titans games.

What is your favorite memory at Outdoor Recreation?

My favorite memory at Outdoor Recreation was the day we were all called in for a meeting, and it turned out to be a surprise party for my high school graduation. My coworkers had planned it out and brought graduation themed baked goods, without me ever having the slightest hint to what was going on. It made me feel quite special that day, and I will remember it for a lifetime.

A REAL ID-compliant (STAR) driver’s license is used to establish identity for the purpose of force protection. The VHIC establishes purpose both for the cardholder and for the cardholder’s accompanying guest. The card will only display the veteran’s name, picture, and special eligibility indicators on the front of the card, if applicable. Veterans will require a VHIC that displays “PURPLE HEART,” “MEDAL OF HONOR”, “FORMER POW,” or “SERVICE CONNECTED” below the photo on the front of the card for installation and benefit access.
