Colony Grill Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Colony Grill officially opened its doors on October 13, and celebrated with a ribbon cutting on October 28. Chamber President & CEO Kate Bates made opening remarks and Colony Grill COO Ken Martin spoke as well. Arlington County Board Chair Libby Garvey and County Board Member Takis Karantonis assisted in cutting the ribbon to welcome Colony Grill to the community. The restaurant is known for it’s specialty bar-style, hot oil pizza. The first Colony Grill location opened in 1935 in an Irish Immigrant neighborhood in Stamford, CT. COWBOY CAFE
Cowboy Cafe Mural & Outdoor Patio Ribbon Cutting
Cowboy Cafe celebrated the reveal of its new outdoor mural and patio dining area on October 30 with a ribbon cutting event. The mural depicts a person hugging multiple homes. Local artist MasPaz created the mural and based it off of the idea of “community”. This inspiration is linked to the community’s overall COVID-19 response.
