Learn Best Practices for Your Next Capital Improvement Project Navigating a capital improvement project for your business or facility can be an overwhelming process. Renovations and building upgrades require many moving parts that can provide a struggle for anyone that doesn't manage these types of projects on a regular basis. The Arlington Chamber's Sustainability Committee has brought together the Capital Improvement Panel on Tuesday, November 7 at HDR, Inc. to help local businesses better understand how to tackle a capital improvement, from identification to implementation. The panelists will address common issues and pitfalls from the architecture and design, financing and funding, and facility use perspectives.

Connecting Business & Nonprofits for Deeper Community Engagement In today's world, relationships between businesses and nonprofits go much farther than writing a check. By regularly engaging in the community, businesses not only help better our area, but are able to form valuable partnerships with nonprofit organizations, who benefit from their involvement. Join the Chamber and our Community Action Committee at our next Nonprofit Forum on Wednesday, November 15, where a panel of business representatives will explain how businesses can grow their corporate social responsibility (CSR) to deepen their engagement with the community and support local nonprofits. This interactive forum will teach businessmen and women about the many ways a strong CSR can improve your company and how to implement this program at your company. Nonprofits will learn how to target businesses interested in expanding community engagement, in order to put their organization in an attractive position to form a partnership. SPECIAL THANKS TO
