News from St Peter’s Church

I hope that you have all managed to keep cool in the heat of this summer! The church with it’s ancient thick stone walls has kept a comfortable temperature throughout, a refuge on those really hot days.

From September we are launching a new project with the opportunity for anyone to BORROW, EXCHANGE OR KEEP books from “The Book Nook” . The book shelves are situated just inside the Blue Doors (north doors), so do come in and borrow, swap or keep the book of your choice. The church is open everyday from 9am-5pm and is a quiet place to stay and read or take your book away and enjoy it in your own home.
