Arkansas Rising is proud to be the state’s premier soccer club offering a full development pathway from recreational play to elite regional and national competition. We’re members of the Arkansas Soccer Association, and the only club in the state to offer ECNL platforms for both our boys and girls programs.
As we look ahead at the upcoming season, now is the time to secure your player’s spot. Tryouts offer your player a chance to join a competitive team. Even if you are unsure about the commitment, we recommend registering and attending our tryouts since they only are offered once a year. 2

Thank you for a fantastic 2025 spring season! From rainy match days to tournament memories, the energy, support, and effort have been off the charts. We’re proud of every team, every coach, and every sideline cheer.
As we prepare for the upcoming fall season, Arkansas Rising is actively seeking passionate, purpose-driven coaches to lead our youngest pre-competitive players in the Rising Academy. We are looking for coaches for both the 2017 and 2016 girls’ and boys’ teams.
Academy coaches play a vital role in helping children fall in love with the game of soccer while learning its fundamentals the right way. Coaches are responsible for leading two weekday training sessions at a location and time that works for them, and one combined Sunday Academy session at Burns Park. Each team plays local matches on the weekend, and coaches are supported with club-provided session plans, technical guidance, and a collaborative team culture.
To coach in the Academy, you’ll need to complete 2 short US Soccer Grassroots Licenses (a 4v4 pre-requisite and 7v7 formats) beginning with a free online introduction course at learning.ussoccer.com. These licenses are tailored to coaches working with 8–10-year-olds and focus on how to build sessions that are engaging, fun, and developmentally appropriate. Arkansas Rising will reimburse all required license costs and yes, you can coach your own child’s team.
This is a paid coaching position. In addition to compensation, coaches receive access to club training resources, direct mentorship from experienced technical staff, and reimbursement of their child’s registration fee following completion of SafeSport, Heads Up Concussion Training, and a background check.
You can fill out the interest form at arkansasrising.org or reach out directly to Sean Dunbar at sean@arkansasrising.org.
